Marci Roth began her career as a graphic designer and art director in Dallas, Texas with a small advertising firm. She went on to work for Nike in their Image Design group in Oregon, designing print materials and art directing photo shoots. Today, Marci works both as a freelance designer and as an illustrator. In her illustration work, she integrates nostalgia with a modern twist in her digital collage illustrations. She finds her source material in old periodicals and textbooks, as well as family photographs abandoned in thrift stores. Working from her Portland, Oregon home studio, Marci has cultivated an exciting roster of clients inlcuding, The Washington Post, Random House, EMI Records, Psychology Today, Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., Better Homes and Gardens, Candlewick Press, Crown Books for Young Readers, Scholastic, Inc., Orange Coast Magazine, North Shore Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal (Europe).
